We’re excited to have you on board! Alkai is designed to simplify your social media management, whether you're a small business owner, marketer, or content creator. To help you get the most out of Alkai from day one, we’ve put together a 6-point checklist in the order you should follow. Let’s dive in!
1. Connect Your Social Media Accounts
The first step to harnessing the full power of Alkai is connecting your social media accounts. Head to the Settings page in the app and link your Facebook and Instagram profiles. Ensure these are business accounts and that you’re the admin or page owner. This connection allows you to schedule posts, track performance, and manage all your social media activities seamlessly from within Alkai.
2. Set Up Your Brand Kit and Brand Card
Once your accounts are connected, it’s time to establish your brand’s identity. In the Brand Kit section of the Settings page, you can define your brand’s colors, fonts, logos, and more. Take a moment to customize your Brand Card by adding your business name, website, and tagline. You can also tweak the layout and animations to make sure every post you create is consistent with your brand’s visual identity.
3. Take the Style Quiz
With your brand kit in place, help Alkai understand your brand’s unique style by taking the Style Quiz, located in the Settings page. This quick and fun quiz lets Alkai learn about your brand’s tone and style preferences, enabling it to generate AI-powered images that are perfectly aligned with your brand’s aesthetic. It’s a simple way to ensure your content stands out and resonates with your audience.
4. Add Additional Media to Your Library
Now that your brand is fully set up, it’s time to organize your creative assets. From the Home screen, you can easily upload images, videos, and other media to Alkai’s library. Keeping your media library stocked and organized ensures that your content creation process is smooth and that your posts are always on-brand.
5. Edit and Share Your First Post
With everything in place, you’re ready to create and share your first post. Explore Alkai’s powerful editing tools by creating or selecting a post and then swiping left and right to browse different layouts and design options. Customize the text, colors, and images to align with your brand’s voice. Once you’re satisfied, share your post directly from the platform. This step will help you get comfortable with Alkai’s capabilities and enhance your content creation process.
6. Generate Planned Posts in Advance
Finally, stay ahead of your social media calendar by using Alkai’s planning feature to generate and schedule posts in advance. Go to the Planning section on the Home screen to start creating your content calendar. By planning ahead, you can ensure a consistent posting schedule that keeps your audience engaged and your brand active. This feature is a game-changer for anyone looking to reduce the stress of last-minute content creation.
